Life is outside the Drama Triangle: how to really be with yourself and others
The purpose of this space is to open the possibility for you to create clarity, authenticity, possibility and connection in your relationships, uncover what you really came to Earth for, and create different results in your life.
The purpose of this space is to open the possibility for you to create clarity, authenticity, possibility and connection in your relationships, uncover what you really came to Earth for, and create different results in your life.
New culture is built outward from each of us and our relationships. What we do in our relationships is what is mirrored by and what mirrors the broader culture around us. You are here reading this, and so you know that what modern culture does is not working for the health of the ecosystems of our planet. Is your relationship on the brink of collapse, are you hiding what's really going on for you with your partner, are you finding it impossible to hear and be heard? Do you have the sense that your group is so fragile that the slightest wind will blow it all down? Are you walking on eggshells around people, trying not to "upset" them? Is being with people at all a huge challenge?
In modern culture, the energy of our feelings and emotions predominantly feeds the Drama Triangle: a dynamic in which there is a victim(s), persecutor(s), and rescuer(s). In other words, who is good and right, and who is bad and wrong, and how to help the “good” people? When we are in the Triangle, we spin around and around and things don’t change very much. Mostly, we just get older while creating repeated patterns, separation, isolation, gossiping, triangulating, cancel culture, stories with hidden purposes, wars, addictions, self-violence and violence toward others.
Something entirely different than this is possible.
In this safe learning space, we will experiment with new distinctions that bring clarity to your relationship with yourself and others. We will experience where and when we sit in the Drama Triangle, and feel what it is really like to be there. There is life outside of our stories of each other and ourselves, and the world is eagerly awaiting your Being to create what it came to Earth to create. In this space, you will begin to discover what you are really up to, what your hidden purposes are, what your bright purposes are. We will experiment with being clear internally and externally about what we are feeling and how to use the energy and information of our feelings and emotions in a way that serves us, those around us, and all of life.
We will be doing work in the large group (maximum 9 participants) and in groups of two or three.
You will feel in this space (anger, fear, joy, and/or sadness) in service of creating more possibility for yourself and others. This is not psychotherapy, or a replacement for it.
Much of this work comes from my training, initiations, and experience in Possibility Management (possibilitymanagement.org) and from my everyday experiences of relating with myself and others.
